the marriage ceremony of Veena Malik and Asad Basheer in her
Morning Show Dated 14 May 2014. But she made a great mistake which is really
unbearable for our nation. She played famous Qawali of Amjad Sabri " Ali or Zohra ki Shaadi Hai" as background music.
This Qawali was sung by a person present on the set.In this Qawali all the
GREAT NAMES OF AHL-E-BAIT are included and singing
such Qawali on marriage ceremony of Veena Malik or any other artist is just an
irresponsible act.
Geo TV has once
again proved that they are an Anti-Islamic channel
by hurting the followers of Islam after playing a Qawwali with lyrics that are
inappropriate according to Islamic Scholars. The Qawwali was played during the
Morning Show by Shaista Lodhi called Utho Jago Pakistan in which they were showing Veena Malik's wedding
ceremony. Mubashir Luqman pointed out the situation and presented it in

Mubashir Luqman said that he is not at all against Veena Malik and Asad Bashir.
He gave them his best wishes for their married life. According
to Mubashir Luqman the culprit of the nation is Geo TV and Shaista Wahidi for
playing such blasphemy material on national TV.

Wahidi apologized to the whole nation in her next show like they all always do
after doing anything shameful.

Today, Agreeing to her statement aired today, the regretful host
stated that she along with the entire team feels sorry and tenders an apology
for the circumstances that were triggered unintentionally due to the capacity
of the program broadcast yesterday.
Dr. Shaista stated that she looks for forgiveness from the Almighty Allah over an unintended gaffe that hurt the sentiments of the audience.
Now Shaista apologized to Pakistani Nation and said that they
(She and her team) are really embarrassed on their mistake. She has realized and she
is also asking for forgiveness from ALLAH Almighty. She said we are sorry on
this act and for hurting our audience. She said she will try to avoid such
mistakes in future with coordination of her audience.
People
are very angry on Geo TV and demanding from the Govt. of Pakistan to ban Geo TV
permanently. Youth is saying that if you can ban YouTube on the act
of Blasphemy then why not Geo TV Network.
