PM
Narendra Modi being ordained the highest civilian award of Saudi Arabia, The
Order of Abdullah, by King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at his
palace in Riyadh.
Prime
Minister Narendra
Modi on Sunday was conferred the Arabian country’s highest
civilian honour — the King Abdulaziz Sash.
The
prime minister was presented the award by King Salman bin Abdulaziz at the
Royal Court on the night before his scheduled departure to New Delhi.
The award
is named after Abdulaziz Al Saud, the founder of the modern Saudi state.
World leaders who have received
the honour include Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, British Prime Minister
David Cameron, US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin and
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

ISLAMABAD: April 6: The Chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has said that
those who are fond of being termed as Khadimeen Al-Harmain and founder of
34-nation Muslim alliance in reaction to Iranian President’s tour of Pakistan
have conferred the highest civil award upon Indian Prime Minister Modi that was
conferred upon only five personalities before. This act of Saudi rulers is a
slap in the face of those powers who keep on reciting the name of Saudia all
the time. This act is aimed at further strengthened the atheists.
