 Police arrest 4 drug dealers in Dr Maha case

Investigative police have arrested four members of an online drug supply group for Dr Maha, who was killed in an alleged suicide in Defense.

SSP Investigation South Bashir Brohi said that the investigating police have arrested four accused Saadullah, Jamaat alias Nasir, Bilal and Owais involved in online drug supply from whose possession cocaine, hashish and motorcycle were recovered. 

Yes, the arrested accused are involved in supplying drugs online and the arrested accused Saadullah had supplied cocaine to Dr. Maha which was traced with the help of Call Data Record (CDR). He said that the accused were receiving huge compensation for the supply of cocaine and other drugs.

Police sources said that the group of accused used to deliver within half an hour after receiving the online order while the money is recovered at the same time.

Police sources said that there was evidence of involvement of a woman in the online drug delivery group to the younger generation, after which the police have expanded the scope of investigation and arrested other drug dealers including the woman. Raids are underway to arrest other drug dealers.

It is pertinent to mention here that the female doctor had committed suicide by shooting herself in the head in Defence area of the metropolis on August 19 and initially it was reported that it happened after a brawl between Dr Maha and her father.
