Allowing female US military personnel to grow their hair and make-up

Female U.S. military personnel were allowed to grow their hair long, wear earrings, and apply lipstick and nail polish.

According to the international news agency, the "grooming policy" for women in the US military has been revised, according to which they can grow long hair at will, adopt any hairstyle and even can make chignon.

Women who like braid are also allowed to do so, however, in choosing a hairstyle, one has to take care that one does not have to worry about wearing an army cap or helmet. Also, women who want to shave their hair will not be stopped.

With the change in policy, female US military personnel can also perform make-up while on duty, including wearing earrings, face powder, lipstick and nail polish.

It should be noted that in the United States, female military personnel were allowed to grow their hair to a certain extent during training and other professional work, while make-up was strictly prohibited.
