Patna:
A court in India has sentenced a school principal
to death for raping a female student.
According to Indian media, the court sentenced school
principal Arvind Kumar to death for raping an 11-year-old student in Patna.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 on
school principal Arvind Kumar and another school teacher Abhishek Kumar. He was
sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 50,000 which will be given to the
victim's father.
According to the Indian court, the school principal raped the
girl several times, but when the girl became pregnant, the whole matter came to
light, after which the girl's parents contacted the police and the arrest of
the school principal was carried out. The court has also ordered to pay Rs
1.5 million compensation to the girl's father.
