A Musical Tribute to Commemorate the PESHAWAR SCHOOL MARTYRS.
Main aisiqoum se
hoon jis kay woh bachon se darta hai …
Bara dushman bana phirta hai jo bachon se larta hai
I am from a nation whose
children frighten him… Some enemy he is, he who targets children.
Bara
DushmanBanaPhirtaHai Jo Bachon Se LartaHai! was released as children began returning to schools across
Pakistan weeks after the siege of Peshawar’s Army Public School.
This was a musical tribute
released to commemorate the 131 children slain on 16 December 2014 in the
horrific attack.
This song is actually written by
an on duty Army officer Major Imran Raza, who had completed this song on the
very same night of incident.
With a young child’s voice lending melody to the lyrics, the song which was released on Monday conveys a message from a slain child to extremists in response to the massacre. The message is one of conviction and resilience; that the children cannot be frightened anymore.
The main verse of the song is also packed with emotion:

The attack on the school resulted in widespread condemnation from national and international quarters with the government quickly scrambling into action. A National Action Plan was then developed in order to tackle the growing problem; the premier lifted the moratorium on capital punishment.

Maa kaash mein aaj school na jaata,
Maa kaash mein aaj school na jaata,
Shayad tumhe phir se dekh pata
Teri awaz sunney ko kaan taras rahe hai,
Dekho na maa baarud k goly baras rahe hai
Saare baache apni maa ko pukar rahe hai,
Maa ye log hume kyu maar rahe hai
Tiffin me di tumari roti bhi nai khaai hai,
Maa aaj golio ne meri bhook mitaai hai
Papa se kehna ab mujhe school lene na aaye,
Dekh nahi paunga unhe mera taboot uthaaye
Mere jaane se apna hausla mat khona,
Maa mujhse bichhar kar tum mat rona
Mere khilone ,meri kitabe , mera basta,
Janta hu teri aankhe dekhti rahegi roz mera rasta
Bhaiyya se kehna uska sathi rooth gaya hai,
bachpan ka humara sath chhott gaya hai
Didi se kehna mere liye aansu na bahaye,
Roz meri tasveer ko chota sa phhol chadaye
Teri yaadon mein, khwabon mein, Reh Jaunga,
Maa mein ab laut k wapis nahi aaunga
Maa mein ab laut k wapis nahi aaunga
The Story Of The Only Survivor Of Class IX In The
Peshawar Massacre.
December 18, 2014
15-year-old Dawood Ibrahim is the Boy Who Lived, literally.
After gunned down 132 school kids in The
most gruesome
massacre seen in recent times, only one boy survived.
He is Dawood Ibrahim, and he owes his life to getting late
for school. According to Pakistani newspaper Express Tribune, Dawood had
attended a wedding on Monday evening. On Tuesday morning, he couldn't get up on
time, and got late for school. The tardiness appears to have saved his life.
" Dawood is lucky. He missed school today because we
attended a wedding last night, and he overslept," Dawood's brother,
Sufyan, told the newspaper. "It was fate."
"Dawood isn't
talking to anyone, he isn't talking at all," his brother added. "He
is into judo and is a tough child but he is showing no emotion at all right
now. He just attended funerals the entire day. No one from his class survived.
Every single one of them was killed."
Never
again. This picture is of the little boy whose mother rushed into the
auditorium during the terrorist attack to save him and his siblings. Some lost
their children. He lost his mother. You know what's so sad about losing your
kid. You'd trade anything to see their messy room and unkempt bed with your
child peacefully sleeping there.
Waking up
everyday, preparing lunch, with that one place that will never be filled by
your kid again. It's so painful.
Children who lose their parents are called
orphans. But someone who loses their child--there's no name for that...
