Black Caps caught brilliantly as Pakistan‘s batsmen largely self-destructed to fold for 101 in veteran skipper captain ShahidAfridi‘s farewell match in New Zealand.

After Pakistan got their tour schedule off to a perfect start with victory in Auckland last week, New Zealand hit back in some style in Hamilton on Sunday.

After today‘s victory, New Zealand have grabbed 5th position in ICC T20I team ranking while Pakistan have reached 7th position.

Today’s encounter was their last chance for fine tuning in cricket’s 20-over format before going for glory in India in March and April.

Sarfraz Ahmed: made 41, while bowling for New Zealand Grant Elliott took three for seven and Adam Milne three for eight.

WahabRiaz: was the most successful bowler as far as wickets are concerned. He accounted for two batsmen but gave away 43 runs in just four overs.

Man of the match Corey Anderson:All-rounder Corey Anderson was man of the match after bludgeoning 82 off 42 balls, but limped off after bowling his third over (figures of 2-17).
