Ertugrul Ghazi's heroine criticized for wearing western clothes

Actress Halima Sultan, who played the lead role in the Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi, has been criticized for wearing western clothes.

 

 The Turkish drama 'Ertugrul Ghazi' based on Islamic history is very popular in Pakistan these days and people are expressing their feelings and love for this drama. However, while the characters of the drama are being well received on social media, at the same time, some fans are criticizing the personal life of the main character of the play.

Turkish actress Isra Beljik, who played the role of Halima Sultan in the drama serial 'Ertugrul Ghazi', shared photos in western clothes on her Instagram account, which shocked Pakistani fans who fell in love with the actress and expressed their grief and anger.

What Fans criticized Esra Bilgiç's bold photos, saying how could she wear a dress after playing the role of Halima Sultan, which is against Halima Sultan's personality.

It should be noted that Ertugrul Ghazi was first broadcast on Turkish state TV in 2014. Before being dubbed in Urdu, the series has been aired in 60 different languages. The drama serial has been airing on PTV daily since the first of Ramadan.

اسلامی تاریخ پر مبنی ترکش ڈرامہ ’ارطغرل غازی‘ کے آج کل پاکستان میں خوب چرچے ہیں اور لوگ اس ڈرامے کو لے کر اپنے جذبات اور محبت کا اظہار کررہے ہیں تاہم جہاں سوشل میڈیا پر ڈرامے کے کرداروں کی خوب پذیرائی ہورہی ہے وہیں کچھ مداح ڈرامے کے مرکزی کردار کی ذاتی زندگی پر تنقید بھی کررہے ہیں۔

ڈرامہ سیریل ’ارطغرل غازی‘ میں حلیمہ سلطان کا کردار ادا کرنے والی ترکش اداکارہ اسراء بلجیک نے اپنے انسٹاگرام اکاؤنٹ پر مغربی لباس میں تصاویر شیئر کیں تو اداکارہ کے عشق میں گرفتار پاکستانی مداحوں کو شدید دھچکا لگا اور انہوں نے اپنے غم وغصے کا اظہار بھی کیا۔

مداحوں نے اسرا بلجیک کی بولڈ تصاویر پر انہیں تنقید کا نشانہ بناتے ہوئے کہا کہ حلیمہ سلطان کا کردار ادا کرنے کے بعد وہ یہ لباس کیسے پہن سکتی ہیں جو کہ حلیمہ سلطان کی شخصیت کے خلاف ہے۔

واضح رہے ارطغرل غازی پہلی بار 2014ء میں ترکی کے سرکاری ٹی وی پر نشر کیا گیا۔ اردو زبان میں ڈب کرنے سے پہلے یہ سیریز 60 مختلف زبانوں میں نشر کی جاچکی ہے۔ یہ ڈرامہ سیریل یکم رمضان سے روزانہ پی ٹی وی پر دکھایا جارہا ہے۔
