The PTA lifted the ban on Tik Tok

Islamabad:

Pakistan Telecommunications Authority has lifted the ban on video sharing app TikTok.

According to the PTA, the decision was made on the assurance of the TikTok administration to block all accounts sharing unethical content. The Tik Tak administration will moderate all user accounts in accordance with the country's laws.

It may be recalled that a few days ago, the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority had banned the video sharing app ' Tik Tok ' across the country for not removing inappropriate content.

According to a letter issued by PTA, the management of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has repeatedly asked the ' Tik Tok ' management to remove controversial and inappropriate content and they have also been instructed to remove inappropriate content. The video sharing app was also given time but failed to satisfy us.
