Qawal Sher Miandad and his son were injured in the firing.

According to Express News, Chak 204R-B village near Faisalabad, Well known Qawal Sher Miandad and his son were injured in the firing of robbers. Police officials said that a case has been registered against two unidentified accused in Madina Town police station on the complaint of Sher Miandad's son Obaid Ali.

According to police, Qawal Sher Miandad was attending the ceremony. He was returning to his car after the program, when two robbers on motorcycles stopped his car and allegedly snatched Rs. 200,000/- from him. He also opened fire, injuring Qawal Sher Miandad and his son Obaid Ali.

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar took notice of the incident of firing on a well-known Qawal Sher Miandad during a robbery in Faisalabad area and directed the administration to provide best medical facilities to Sher Miandad. RPO Faisalabad has sought a report of the incident from the CPO.
