Veteran Pakistani play writer, satirist and humorist Anwar Maqsood is seriously ill, request for prayers from fans

Prominent humorist of the country Anwar Maqsood has become seriously ill.

President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah has appealed to the people to pray for the recovery of the country's leading intellectual Anwar Maqsood.

In a statement, Mohammad Ahmad Shah said that internationally renowned Pakistani legend, playwriter and intellectual Anwar Maqsood is critically ill and all citizens should pray for his recovery.

He said that Anwar Maqsood is a precious asset of the country and the members of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi should arrange special prayers for him.
