The call to prayer in the voice of singer Atif Aslam not only captivated the fans in Pakistan and around the world but also enchanted his non-Muslim fans.

In order to get rid of the Corona virus, the call to prayers has been going on in Pakistan for the last several days and prayers are being asked from God for forgiveness of one's sins. Singer Atif Aslam also shared a video of the call to prayer on social media two days ago. Atif Aslam's beautiful call to prayer brought tenderness to the listeners and people appreciated him immensely.

However, Atif Aslam's admirers included not only his Muslim fans but also non-Muslim fans across the border who listened to and admired Atif Aslam's call to prayer. Atif Aslam wrote a message on YouTube with the video of the call to prayer, "Allah is the greatest and I confirm that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Millions of people from all over the world have heard and thousands have commented on it.

A non-Muslim fan named Ankit Prajapati wrote in a comment that I am a Hindu but I like Islam very much and I want to enter this religion. Ankit's comment was appreciated by a large number of people who advised him to read the Qur'an with translation.

گلوکار عاطف اسلم کی آواز میں دی جانے والی اذان نے نہ صرف پاکستان اور دنیا بھر میں موجود مداحوں پر رقت طاری کی بلکہ ان کے غیر مسلم پرستاروں پر بھی سحر طاری کردیا۔

کورونا وائرس سے نجات پانے کے لیے گزشتہ کئی دنوں سے پاکستان میں مقررہ اوقات کے علاوہ بھی اذانیں دینے کا سلسلہ جاری ہے اور خدا سے اپنے گناہوں کی معافی طلب کی جارہی ہے۔ گلوکار عاطف اسلم نے بھی دو روز قبل سوشل میڈیا پر اذان کی ویڈیو شیئر کی۔ عاطف اسلم کی خوبصورت آواز میں دی جانے والی اذان نے سننے والوں پر رقت طاری کردی اور لوگوں نے انہیں بے حد سراہا۔

تاہم عاطف اسلم کو سراہنے والوں میں صرف ان کے مسلمان مداح ہی شامل نہیں تھے بلکہ سرحد پار سے غیر مسلم مداحوں نے بھی عاطف اسلم کی آواز میں دی جانے والی اذان کو سنا اور اس کی بے حد تعریف کی۔ یوٹیوب پر عاطف اسلم نے اذان کی ویڈیو کے ساتھ پیغام لکھا ’’اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور محمدﷺ اللہ کے پیغمبر ہیں۔‘‘ یوٹیوب پر عاطف اسلم کی آواز میں اذان کو اب تک دنیا بھر سے لاکھوں لوگ سن چکے ہیں اور ہزاروں نے اس پر تبصرے کیے۔

 انکیت پراجاپتی نامی ایک غیر مسلم مداح نے تبصرہ کرتے ہوئے لکھا میں ہندو ہوں لیکن مجھے اسلام بہت پسند ہے اور

 میں اس مذہب میں داخل ہونا چاہتا ہوں۔ انکیت کے اس تبصرے کو لوگوں کی بہت بڑی تعداد نے سراہا اور انہیں کھلے دماغ سے ترجمے کے ساتھ  قرآن پڑھنے کے مشورے دئیے۔
