Hasan Ali deletes cryptic tweet after central contract axe

Pakistan’s head coach-cum-chief selector Misbahul Haq claimed that this was the right move because of Hasan’s history of injuries

Pakistan’s fast-bowler Hasan Ali deleted a cryptic tweet after getting axed from the list of centrally contracted players for 2020-21 on Wednesday.

The concerned tweet consisted of Hasan’s trademark generator celebration while batting with a caption that claimed that the celebration was not just for bowling.

“This celebration isn’t just for bowling,” Hasan tweeted.

It should be noted that last year when Mohammad Amir was also removed from the A category of the contract, he also tweeted a satire and deleted it.

Earlier, fast-bowlers Hasan Ali, Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz missed out on central contracts after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the new list for central contracts for 2020-21 which comes into effect from July 1 for a 12-month period.

سینٹرل کنٹریکٹ سے محروم ہونے والے فاسٹ بولر حسن علی نے طنزیہ ٹویٹ کرنے کے بعد ڈیلیٹ کر دیا۔ انہوں نے مخصوص انداز میں خوشی منانے والی اپنی تصویر شیئر کرتے ہوئے لکھا کہ ’’یہ جشن صرف بولنگ کیلیے ہی نہیں ہے‘‘۔

واضح رہے گزشتہ برس جب محمد عامر کو بھی کنٹریکٹ کی اے کیٹیگری سے ہٹایا گیا تھا تو انہوں نے بھی طنزیہ ٹویٹ کر کے ڈیلیٹ کر دی تھی۔
