Trump wants schools to reopen. Experts say COVID-19 safety measures to cost billions

President Trump rejected the recommendations of Corona Task Force chief Dr. Fauchi and ordered the immediate reopening of all schools across the country.

 According to the international news agency, US President Donald Trump instructed the governors of all the states to open schools and said that normalcy in the country should be gradually restored. School closures are hurting the economy through education and lockdowns, and citizens are losing their jobs.

President Trump's announcement comes a day after Dr. Anthony Fouchi, head of the Corona Virus Task Force and an infectious disease specialist, warned against rushing to open a school or restore normalcy.

This is not the first time that President Trump has rejected the opinion of experts on the corona virus. He wanted to end the lockdown on Easter, when the drug used for malaria was described as a cure for the corona virus and patients were infected. There was also ridiculous advice to apply antiseptic drip.

It should be noted that the number of deaths due to corona virus has reached 290,000 worldwide while the highest number of deaths has occurred in the United States where the number has exceeded 80,600.

صدر ٹرمپ نے کورونا ٹاسک فورس کے سربراہ ڈاکٹر فاؤچی کی تجاویز کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے ملک بھر میں فوری طور پر تمام اسکول کھولنے کا حکم دے دیا۔

عالمی خبر رساں ادارے کے مطابق امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے تمام ریاستوں کے گورنرز کو اسکول کھولنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک میں اب معمولات زندگی کو آہستہ آہستہ بحال ہو جانا چاہیئے۔ اسکول بند ہونے سے تعلیمی اور لاک ڈاؤن سے معیشت کو نقصان پہنچ رہا ہے اور شہری بیروزگار ہو رہے ہیں۔

صدر ٹرمپ نے اسکول کھولنے اور معمولات زندگی کو دوبارہ بحال کرنے کا اعلان اس وقت کیا جب ایک روز قبل ہی کورونا وائرس کے انسداد کے لیے بنائی گئی ٹاسک فورس کے سربراہ اور متعدی بیماری کے ماہر ڈاکٹر اینتھونی فاؤچی نے اسکول کھولنے یا معمولات زندگی بحال کرنے میں جلد بازی کا مظاہرہ کرنے پر خبردار کیا تھا۔

  یہ پہلی مرتبہ نہیں کہ صدر ٹرمپ نے کورونا وائرس سے متعلق ماہرین کی رائے کو مسترد کردیا ہو، وہ ایسٹر پر ہی لاک ڈاؤن ختم کردینا چاہتے تھے جب کہ ملیریا کے لیے استعمال ہونے والی دوا کو کورونا وائرس کا علاج بتایا تھا اور مریضوں کو جراثیم کش ڈریپ لگانے کا مضحکہ خیز مشورہ بھی دیا تھا۔

واضح رہے کہ دنیا بھر میں کورونا وائرس سے ہلاک ہونے والوں کی تعداد 2 لاکھ 90 ہزار ہوگئی ہے جب کہ سب سے زیادہ ہلاکتیں امریکا میں ہوئی ہیں جہاں تعداد 80 ہزار 600 سے تجاوز کرگئی ہے۔
